Another Almond Milk Recipe

I have tried several recipes for almond milk.  I found one recently that I have tested in my non-scientific kitchen.  This simple recipes seems to me to make the almond milk last longer.

 

 

4 cups Filtered or Alkaline Water

1 Cup of Almonds

Bring the water to a boil.  Turn off the burner. Pour the almonds in the water and let sit for 1 hour.

Pour the entire batch into the blender or VitaMix (r) until smooth.  Strain with a strainer or milk bag.

This makes about a quart.  And easily lasts for 3 to 4 days. Maybe longer.
