It’s always interesting to find out what you can do with leftovers
Nothing earth shattering food-wise today.
Just cleaning out the leftovers and remnants, both in the phone and in the refrig. 🙂
Bought over the weekend. One more day.
Spicy! (From The Cat’s colleague’s daughter’s mother, whew! That’s a mouthful. Both physically and mentally. Hee hee.
A hodge podge of pasta, wakame seaweed, goji berries, and roast duck, salt to taste, and a splash of bourbon (just to get the bowl happy).
I know, boring as heck, but a new way (for me anyway) to cook rice. According to more than a few websites, boiling the rice like pasta (and discarding the cooking water) retains less naturally (and sometimes unnaturally) occurring arsenic in the finished product.
Boiled rice has a different texture from steamed rice. Might even be better for fried rice. Let you know.
