More Information on Hot Pockets Recall

If you eat pre-packaged meals, this will open your eyes…

I read an article this morning in USA Today about Hot Pockets being recalled because they contained something absolutley disgusting…

Diseased meat!

The regulators on the case said that Nestle (who makes Hot Pockets) processed “diseased and unsound animals”.

So if you’re eating food like this, this should be an eye-opener for you (i.e. stop eating that crap).

It’s one step away from dog food.

But that’s not the “big picture” that I want to talk about.

Here’s the deal…

If you read this newsletter, then like me, you don’t trust most of what the government tells you.

You know better than to just believe the lies coming out of their mouth.

They seem to be professionals at that kind of thing.

Now if you think like that, then I want to ask you this…

If you don’t believe the government when it comes to most other issues – then why do you trust them when it comes to your food?

Here are some of the crazy things the USDA encourages…

– They want you to eat 6-11 servings of grains everyday.

New medical research (and common sense) is starting to change most people’s minds when it comes to grains…

At the end of the day, most of health issues we experience are the result of inflammation in the body (weight gain, joint pain,

diabtes, blood pressure etc…) And inflammation is primarily caused by foods that spike your insulin like grains.

This means foods like bread, cereal and pasta.

Our hard-earned tax money subsidizes most of these foods, which is why they’re so cheap compared to fresh veggies and organic food.

Now here’s a few more things that the USDA wants you to believe…

– If meat passes our inspections, it’s just as healthy as any other meat

Growing up on a farm, I know firsthand that this is not true.

We had all kinds of animals living on our farm. Cows, chickens, rabbits – you name it, we had it.

Think about this for a second.

Let’s say you have two cows. One of them lives on a big plot of grassy land, and the other is packed into a barn with hundreds of other cows.

The cow on the grassy farm spends his day walking around the farm, eating grass, sleeping and spending time with the other happy cows around him.

He’s healthy and is not being fed any corn or antibiotics.

The cow in the barn eats nothing but cheap GMO grains everyday. He doesn’t get much sunlight and he doesn’t get much exercise either. He’s always

highly stressed and getting sick. The farmers pump him full of antibiotics and medication to keep him alive.

This is a very NORMAL scenario.

Which cow do you think would make for the healthiest burger?

Which one would make the best steak?

Do you think eating meat that comes from a cow that’s struggling to stay alive is good for you?

In the eyes of the USDA, both of these cows are “healthy”.

Don’t believe what they’re saying.

And here’s a simple way you can do this so that YOU and your family can eat healthier (without breaking the bank).

Eating meat from animals that live “normal lives” out on a pasture or in the wild is the best way to go.

So for instance here’s the meat that I get for my family…

– Beef or Chicken from a local farmer (it’s cheaper, tastier and healthier than the grocery store. Buy straight from the farm and

you cut out the middle man) If you want to buy in bulk and freeze it, you can get an even bigger discount.

– Deer meat – If you’re a hunter, there’s nothing better than the meat you’ll get from a deer. Deer live out in the “wild”, running around

all day and eating the diet that God intended for them to eat. This is why deer meat is very healthy. As a side note, I also highly recommend

any type of wild game (hogs, rabbit, duck etc…)

– Wild Caught Fish – If you can afford it, I highly recommend eating “wild caught” fish over “farm raised” fish. Farm raised fish have most

of the same problems that commercially raised cows have – bad food, no exercise etc…

Here’s what I want you to really take away from this…

If you want to feed your family the healthiest food possible, do your best to stick to the foods that God and nature intended for you to eat.

You can do it.
