Wooly Pockets for Gardening with Limited Space

I was watching HGTV the other day and there was a show on called “I want that”.

One item they showed was Wooly Pocket and it’s an invention that allows you to plant herbs and flowers and even some vegetables even when you have limited space.

I saw a few of the videos so here’s the link below so you can look at them.

Andrea’s Kale Salad Made with Love

My friend , I mean ANGEL has been such a blessing to me over the past 3 weeks. She made this marvelous kale salad for me. I got up this morning and there it was so colorful and yummy looking.

I had to take a photo of it.

I have not been blogging over the past few weeks very much because I’m in Southern California taking care of a family crisis. So I will start back pretty soon but while I’ve been here I have had some great friends surround me and support me and Andrea was at the front of the line. Here’s the salad photo and keep me in your prayers.

thank you

GMO Summit : GMO Foods

You are invited to learn about the significance of GMO Genetically Modified Organism in our food sources .

Hey Glenda,

Which of the foods in your kitchen have genetically modified ingredients (GMOs)?

Sadly, you don’t know the answer. None of us do. Because companies like Monsanto, DuPont and Dow Chemical have deceived voters and bullied legislators to keep us in the dark.

If there was nothing wrong with GMO foods, why would they be *so* invested in keeping labels off GMO foods?

No wonder these bullies have been p—ing in their pants since learning about this month’s GMO Mini Summit. 🙂

From October 25-27, 2013, John Robbins (author of “Diet for a New America”) and Jeffrey Smith (author of “Genetic Roulette”) will expose the truth about GMOs in a pivotal telesummit – featuring interviews with 10 leading authorities.

There’s no cost and you can participate from your phone or computer. Best of all, you’ll discover:
– Studies Monsanto has been hiding from us – revealing the health effects of GMO’s on your family, your pets, and the environment.

– The possible GMO connection to allergies, autism, and leaky gut

– How to help your family eat healthier and avoid GMOs

– Ways to get involved and become active in the fight for GMO labeling and the future of agriculture

You’ll hear from many of the world’s top experts, researchers and activists on the latest (and sometimes shocking) information on GMOs.

Speakers include former pro-GMO scientist Dr. Thierry Vrain, who will lift the veil and expose the truth Monsanto doesn’t want you to know.

You’ll also hear from environmental hero, author and activist Vandana Shiva tell you the global impact of GMOs.

You’ll come away with a plan on how to stay empowered and take action.

Everyone is welcome and there’s no cost. I’ll be there for sure. Will you join me?
Trevor Justice, Director

P.S. In his 319 page book “Genetic Roulette”, Jeffrey Smith documents how genetically modified (GM) foods are causing sterility, infant mortality, allergies, organ defects, and childhood diseases.

No wonder many countries have serious bans or restrictions on GM foods. But incredibly, the U.S. has none.

The states of VT and CT almost passed laws requiring GM foods to be labeled. But Monsanto threatened huge lawsuits and the states backed down.

When OR and CA tried passing ballot measures, these Monsanto spent millions on TV ads — and defeated the measure by confusing and deceiving voters.

This is our chance to take action. If you want to know the truth about GMOs and the risks Monsanto, the government, and the media are deliberately hiding from you, then register for this no-cost summit today.
